Montverde Academy is proud to announce that three of its seniors have been named Finalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program: Phoenix Connick, Ali Cheema, and Leon Liu.

In addition to receiving the prestigious Finalist designation, Phoenix Connick has been selected to receive the National Merit University of Central Florida Scholarship. This college-sponsored Merit Scholarship is awarded through a partnership between the University of Central Florida and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).
除了入围决赛这一殊荣外，Phoenix Connic还被授予由中佛罗里达大学提供的国家优秀学生奖学金。该奖学金是通过中佛罗里达大学与国家优秀学生奖学金委员会（NMSC）的合作机制颁发的。
Approximately 150 colleges and universities sponsor around 3,600 of these scholarships each year. Finalists are eligible for college-sponsored awards only if they have selected a sponsoring institution as their first choice. Winners are chosen by officials of the sponsoring college or university.
