On Wednesday March 20th during Upper School Assembly, Eric Oberman, president of the Atlanta Tipoff Club, recognized boys basketball head coach Kevin Boyle, boys basketball team member Cooper Flagg, and girls basketball player Jaloni Cambridge for their respective achievements during the 2023-24 high school basketball season.

Additionally, Flagg was awarded the prestigious title of Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Player of the Year, which recognizes him as the most outstanding high school boys basketball player in the country. He was presented with the Player of the Year Trophy, making him the fifth player from Montverde Academy ever to win the Player of the Year award.
